TX - Homeowner Shoots Would-Be Home Invader

Investigators say a homeowner shoots an intoxicated man who tried to open a rear door and enter the house in northeast Harris county.

The shooting took place at approximately 12 a.m. Monday on Twister Trail near Falcon Trail.

Precinct 4 deputy constables say when the allegedly drunk man first arrived to the home, he knocked on the front door in a furious manner and tried to enter the house. The homeowner told the man outside to leave, but he instead walked into the backyard of the home and tried breaking through the rear entrance.....
