Two is one, one is none.

Well, ladies and gents, a bit of follow-up as a "thank you" and a courtesy for all the great input I received on this thread.

After I took the artillery scope off of my new rifle, I did lots of reading, read lots of reviews, and finally decided on a Burris MTAC 1-4 x 24 (w/ illuminated reticle) combo, which included a 3MOA red-dot, the Burris Fast Fire III.

All in all, I'm not sold on the idea of having a red-dot on top of my optic, but I'll give it a whack. Most likely the red-dot will find a new home on my Remington 870 HD shotgun.

Thanks again for all the input; I can't wait to take this baby to the range!
