Turkish Mauser

hey so i check the FS website often...the used gun page and something struck me odd? a turkish mauser m-98 for less then 100bucks? hmm peaked my interest, im going to look at it asap...Can anyone tell me about the Turkish Mausers, theres not to much info on the web...

I seem to remember them being sold for $39 or 3 for $100 back about 10 yrs ago IIRC.

Never bought one and don't know anything about them.

i think the turkish are m93 small ring mausers and a lot of them are antique

Kinda what I remember. IIRC, the ones offered for 3/$100 were allegedly in poor shape. That's the reason why I didn't buy them at that time.

Not as much shot to hell, just never taken care of.
First you want to check the barrel. Most of them are rusted up to a point that it gets dangerous!
