Coming to the masses here. Mine is done but my wifey says there is no longer a need to file it with the state(says 2 of her lawyer friends). Just fill it out get it notarized and file it away. Enlighten me my friends, sounds funny...

In MA, if the trust holds real estate it needs to be filed at your local registry. Do NOT file the beneficiary page. If the trust does not hold real estate it does not need to be filed (IANAL) but people file them so that a public record search in the event of death will find them.
