Is that what happened? I was watching, and I just thought he was rambling and was wondering wtf was wrong. Had to switch channels as nothing made sense. He didn't put together 2 consecutive sentences on a single topic and just said how great he is. If this is how he thinks he will win the purple states, I am not sure about that. Plus his daughter's new campaign isn't hitting with those people either.

sanctions and retractions of privilege against China
as a consequence of a laundry list of ChiCom hijinks.
While stating grievances, he referred to the "Wuhan Flu".
But after he'd segued onto the topic of coronavirus status,
he referred to it at least twice as the "Chi-na Flu".
Hopefully at least some of the MSM take the bait;
ideally their leashholders in the PRC, too.

And in case you haven't been paying attention since June 2015, Trump is one of the most polarizing politicians in recent memory. There aren't that many "purple people" left generally speaking. Very few states are actually in play for this election. Pennsylvania and Florida are by far the biggest. NH is small but could push him over the edge if he were to lose either Florida or Pennsylvania. He only lost by a couple thousand votes in 2016 and that was before the new NH law that makes it harder to pretend to live in NH and vote there.
Just like it wasn't enough to win in 2016 right? I am curious what you mean by that phrase though. In your mind, is he playing to his base by refusing to bend the knee to certain Marxist organizations that have been in the news lately, or something else?

Sweden refused, and they're either being lambasted, or completely ignored (fingers-in-ears "la-la-la-I-can't-hear-you!" style). Belarus just turned down a loan from IMF cuz the strings that came attached mandated they model their virus response after Italy's.
And then there are the riots. Not just here. That's utterly bizarre since purportedly based on the ancient American sin of slavery. Yet they're happening all over Western Europe, too.
THEY are trying to take over, and install a World Socialist State. The US is the biggest obstacle, so they worked extra hard to gin up (and I do believe it was intentional) a pandemic, juxtaposed atop a "race" riot (funny how most of the rioters look like that white guy from high school who wore mascara and dressed in black). Europe, of course, has the "migrants" who enjoy raping the native women when they're not burning down churches. All the while, the supposed "adults" are looking on with a shrug.
