Troy Rear Flip Up Sights: placement near charging handle

I always see folks installing the sites all the way to the back. When the sights are down and you are using an Aimpoint for example, wouldn't the sights get in the way of the charging handle?

I test them quite often at work and they most certainly do fold flat with the upper receiver. They are machined to match the NATO dimensions of the rail sections . The folded height of the sight is 0.46"

Yes. Most uppers have a little flat beyond the last tooth (I've never seen one without this), and the troy sights have a built in stop.
