I'm loading on a Dillon 650.
When loading w/ small primers, every so often, 1/15 or so, the spent primer is drawn back up into the brass.
I have tried polishing the decapping pin to no avail.
Does anyone have any other ideas?

Check the instructions for the dies and make sure the pin isn't sticking out too far from the bottom of the die. That is exactly what happens if the pin is sticking out too far. You are piercing the primer and pulling it back up. If the length is correct try what Bill said.

It's usually because the pin gets stuck between the anvil and the primer cup. Taper the tip of the pin slightly like Bill O recommended.

I've had issues with this on my 550 as well. As mentioned, tapering the pin helps, but in my case it doesn't completely eliminate the problem. I've gotten into the habit of looking to see the spent primer fall out of the chute before I lower the ram. I've noticed it happens a lot with CCI primers.
