Trigger pull weight

Why would there be a difference? The pressure that it takes to release the striker is the exact same whether or not there's a round in the chamber. [wink]

Hopefully! [rofl]

I've been told and read that many a light switch has been blown out "dry" firing when the gun owner goofed! [wink]

There was a guy on Sigforum many years ago, preparing for a range trip once with a couple of women, one of which had never handled guns before. She picked up a BHP that was laid out on the bed, said "bang bang!" and before he could stop her, proceeded to pull the trigger and got an actual BANG! out of it, and shot the guy's computer in the process. [rofl] Needless to say she listened to him after that.

Dry fire weight will be the same. To find where it resets you'll just have to hold trigger, rack slide and slowly release the trigger.
