Transporting from home state through Ma to NH

I know federal laws allow tranporting ny legal Pistol, locked and ammo seperated, but can anyone send me the link to this law? I am also wondering if they have a email address to propper Ma agency to verify they respect and abide by it. I sent a letter to ma attorney general and surprise, I got the run around.
