Trail camera thread. Post ur trail camera photos.

So i have a couple game cameras with sim cards capabilities..
So ill be setting up wireless bridges and extended wifi to connect quality cameras....I'm debating wich is more cost effective.

For more equipment cost i get better cameras with no monthly fee but am limited by equipment costs vs vandalism.

Its a complicated advanced setup but worth it IMO..
The biggest restriction is battery cost and power.

What your guy's opinion.

Wish me luck - I have set a camera up to try and catch the mountain lion the neighbors saw a month ago. I have noticed less deer and no coyotes this year and lots of stuff coyotes normally eat (squirrels, rabbits and such).

I baited with a 5lb caribou roast and some forgotten 2008 steak from the bottom of the freezer. I hung the roast 4-5ft off the ground with paracord.

I did see a bobcat on Friday on Rte 12 just south of the center of town.

Something killed three of my chickens a few days ago.
My son and I set up the trail cam and got this:

Repaired the holes in the fence and then I put out a few hand made snares and baited a Have-A-Heart trap with marshmallows and watermelon.
This morning my boy went out and checked the trap:

Last step in that "catch a chicken eating raccoon" routine is to now drop that trap in to the river for 5 minutes and then empty the contents.

A few from last weeks pics.

Just got this pic out of one of my cameras. I've only seen three bobcats here over 5 years, this makes number 4 and might be one the previous ones.

I'd estimate the weight at 30lbs.
