You know its weird I am seeing some acorns, well more this weekend. I am not sure if just some trees are not producing. I have this place I go and get buckets of them and the trees were empty and there were none on the ground. At my farm in NH I saw more.

Heres a bear thats been coming into my bait up in NH every morning and every night. looks a little small. I just thought this picture was good. I sat and watched him all morning today and didn't take a shot.

If only your camera had GPS

I know. Buy a feeder fill it with corn you will get deer. Not sure how hunting in RI is but u cant go anywhere in southern ma without finding them.

I need to find a place to donate deer or find someone that would want one ,my freezer is still full.

To the best of my knowledge there is no program in Massachusetts but Connecticut has a program that works really well. The hunters donate the deer to participating butchers (who donate their services) and the IIRC the Connecticut Food Bank and shelters are the major beneficiaries of the venison.

Kind of forgot about this spot. I built and placed this feeder in over the winter, only filled it once. Got some pics and never went back. Decided last week to hang a camera there. Didn't get much...
