Tragedy in GA

The article didn't say whether it was a rifle, handgun round or shotgun. But they did say that the bullet was lodged in her neck, so I assume that they know.

I don't think rifle bullets get "lodged in your neck". Unless it's a .22 rifle or it's already gone through a bunch of stuff. Rifle bullets tend to go right through things like necks.

She was in a car, so bullet may have hit a bunch of steel before getting to her neck. I doubt that a lead pellet has enough energy to sever neck.

Also it sounds like there were multiple shots fired.

Depends on distance. The energy may or may not have been severely depleted. I'd wait for more info.
