    I figured well, there's a Jeeper's thread, why not a Taco thread?

Here's mine when I got it on 12/30/17:
    new.jpg
    And Now: now.jpg

    now 2.jpg

Tons going on here, but here are some high lights:

    Lift/wheels/tires

    Bilstein 5100 PN 24-263108 (front)
    Bilstein 5100 PN 24-186728 (rear)
    OME 884 Springs
    Rogue Offroad 1-1/2" AAL
HeadStrong 1/4" Spacer (driver side lean mitigation)
Falken Wildpeak A/T3W 265-70-17 Standard Load
    Level 8 MK6 Wheels, 17x8", ET0, Gunmetal Gray

I have a journal going on at the Tacoma World site for more details. I know there are a few others here that own Tacos, so let's see them......

I have a 2010 doublecab, shortbed, 6 speed standard... I love it...unfortunately I hit a deer with it several weeks ago. I am fine, the taco sustained some damage to the front right headlight area but still drivable as a daily driver and the deer is in my freezer [smile]. I'll be getting it repaired as soon as I can squeeze it into a body shop. I found that shops are very busy this time of year.

I've had it for about three years and love it.

I'll post some pics later on.

Top: 2018 TRD Off Road. Traded in my 07 Off Road for it. Sad day to see her go, my kids and myself loved her. Never failed me but she was tired. Same truck, just 11 years younger. I’d like to slap the designers for putting the 4wd selector next to the blower control, that’s my only gig on this truck.

'17 with 38k miles. Not much done to it other than a bed cover and some cosmetic stuff etc. Eventually I will level it off and put some more aggressive tires on there. This truck has been perfect for me.

I will say I have no idea why they have chrome rear bumper caps on the off-road version of this truck.

2003 with 5 month old frame. Just squeaked in under the deadline. It's 15 years from when it went into service and it had gone into service in Sept of 03. Had the frame done in Aug. When it went in it had 220,000 on it with the original timing chain/belt in it so figured it would be a good idea to have it done while the motor was out. This saved a little bit on labor plus I had other things done while it was apart so the only cost would be for parts only. Most had no labor with the exception of timing chain/belt. It's been a good truck to me and I don't see any problems hitting 300,000.

I had an 06 TRD sport quad cab and the a 15 TRD quad cab that I just recently traded in for a 16 Ford F-150XLT. Taco was just too small with the 2 kiddo's and the 2 dogs, but trust me my spirit is with you. Some day I'll be back to my beloved Taco.... Some day.

I haven't had any slips, slides or issues. I even tried to do a donut with traction control shut off on a snowy parking lot and had a hard time getting getting it to slide.

Wheels are awesome, and short coin. Removed the logos with lacquer thinner.

I haven't measured since it settled but day of install I got:

Driver Front - 1-7/16" net lift Passenger Front - 1-5/16"
Driver Rear - 2-7/8" net lift Passenger Rear - 2-1/2"

The rack is KBVoodoo hi-rise. It's meant for putting a roof top tent. I'm going to (and am) using them for other things. Right now my ski rack is on them
Toyota Tacoma Hi Rise Crossbars, for use with tonneau covers (fits years 2005 and up)

I still dont understand why a "off road" package does not include a winch as standard equipment.

I am a Tundra fan. Bought my 1st in 04 would still have it but 3 kids did not fit. 1st 2000 Tundra 190k when traded in 2014.
Picked up a 2011 Crew max 37k to replace it. i have put almost 60k . Other than the air injection and one wheel bearing system replaced under warranty i have only done set of tires and brakes. Replaced the battery just because it was 7_years old.
I have about 15 Taco coming through the shop regularly.
Mostly brakes and wheel bearings. Evap leaks and old age items.

Got my 2014 Sport the week I left Mass for good. Since I was hauling quite a bit of last minute stuff out of there, Mrs. scatter decided that I wanted the crew cab with the long bed. Would not do that again. Just too damn long to get around parking lots and such. I haul a lot of wood, so I would definitely stick with the long bed, but with no pets or kids I would be happy with just the extended cab.

And for some reason I really like that silly fake hood scoop. Even though I make fun of people who add fake scoops to their vehicles.
