Toronto blames slack US gun laws for crime rate

So Canada's lax alcohol control policies were responsible for Al Capone and the beginning of organized crime in the US during the 20's? Does anybody know which major party Toronto's mayor is from? Stalinist? Maoist? Trotskyite?

Canada has twice the rate of violent crime that the U.S. does, and more non-violent crime too. According to the FBI’s Bureau of Justice, U.S. Violent crime rate for 2005 (the latest full year available) was 469.2 violent crimes per 100,000 people, Canada's (according to Canada’s National Statistical Agency) was 942.9 per 100,000 people. Property crimes: The U.S. had 3429.8 per 100.000, Canada had 3737.6 per 100,000.

While lower than ours, their homicide rates have been rising over the past three years, as have their gun crimes.

If anything, we should be blaming them!

Why can't people suck it up like real men and take responsibility for themselves? Damn pussies. Just like Menino!

Maybe, just maybe these towns are full of scum bags, crack and other wonderful things. It coulnd't be their own people huh?
