Also, in Boston on May 28th - “Boston Calling” - 3 day festival

Also, in NY. Randall Island - June 4th - Governors Ball 3 day festival

The Bangor, ME show should be the best since they will likely play longer.

Tool has not played in New England for many years. 2 years ago we were all excited about their tour but they did not come here.

I bought three day passes to Boston Calling because of tool (gf's favorite band). Which is kind of a shame since all the bands on Friday I've never heard of.

I saw them at Great Woods maybe 8-9 (?) years ago. Weird show. Maynard doesn't move around the stage -- at all -- which I guess is his thing. But it gets dull after a couple of hours. Great music, though.

If she likes Tool that much you should see them in Bangor. I'm sure that would be a better venue and longer set list.

I really love the long shows. I feel like I'm getting my monies worth.
It's going to be expensive because I like to buy their concert T-shirts.

Tool makes some great tunes, but Maynard has got to be the worst frontman in history. a few years ago he did the whole show behind a screen at the back of the stage. Got to watch his silhouette for an hour & a half...
    Was it even him?

    This sucks...

I didn't realize how far Bangor was.

It would take me like 6 hours with traffic.
I have to work the next day, too. Early.

I have been waiting for years for this...

    I'm not going.

If she played the Professional in its entirety followed by Mila Kunis' scenes with her in Black Swan, I'd be fine with that curation.

Boston Calling is the superior venue to see Tool. Their day (Sunday) is STACKED with awesome shows.

i was thinking the Montreal show might be closer then Bangor, saw them last two times through, and yes Maynard has taken to perform int he shadows, but the visuals and light show more then make up for his lack of presence....

    Keep trying.

I was offered section 6 twice, and then section 2. I decline both times but just wanted to see what was available.

You don't go to a Tool show to watch Maynard sing for an hour & half.
