Is there really any better way to run a campaign than to sling some mud and then smear it on your opponent? [rolleyes]

The fact is, if you have no virtue or a worthy platform, the best way to win is to do anything to make the other guy look worse than you.

I'll run for AG! My platform will be "Hey I'll actually lock that mofo up that just kicked your face in, or I'll let ya shoot em with a nifty pistol that NH residents can own but you can't because of Reilly!"

Tom Reily... Aaaahhhhh, the thought of Mr. Reily in an elected office gives me the same warm feeling as walking barefoot thorugh the summer grass... and stepping in something !!!??!?!?!?
 
I had a nightmare moment today... I mentioned mr Reilly in conversation... and called him "Gov. Reilly" by accident... it was awful... and made worse by the fact I was in Four Season's looking at 1911's... the guy behind the counter looked as though he was considering throwing me out it think... can't say I'd blame him!
