I know, Supply and Demand and/or shit seeks it's own level, but $925 for a Sig 320? Why? Because you got 2 in stock 1 week before everyone else and you can scalp a couple hundred. To what end? Only to disgust hundreds of potential customers.

You do the math:

And yes, I'm very interested in a P320. In fact, a Glock 19 Gen 4 priced at $800 looks appetizing. [rofl]

threads that complain about vendors are beyond useless.

I hear ya- even if I'm not in the market it's a downer to scan the classifieds and see a bunch of crappy prices. Who really wants to see the forum overrun with carpetbaggers? [laugh]

For rare or highly collectible firearms, I don't give it a second thought if something is priced higher than market. Often there's a 'OBO". Gouging on something because it's new bugs me, and serious Glock gouging bugs me the most. "Gen 4 G19 NIB $900" [rolleyes]. It's a $540 gun for cryin' out loud. Sure, a premium for PRM availability is to be expected, but big time gouging is disgusting. That said, their gun, their price to set...

Not entirely useless. All week long at work I deal with complaints, and I seem to be the complaint department at home as well despite my 'deal with it' responses. I complain on NES for my mental health. [smile]

Blah, blah, blah.

The same right you have to sell it at your price, others have the same right to complain about said price.

The value of anything is what someone will pay for it. It's pointless to complain that other people place a higher utility on ownership of something than you do. That is what we call a free market.

Lets focus on the point here, shall we? Like has been said, he can charge what he likes and others are free to pay/not pay and/or bitch about said price. But it speaks volumes for someone's operation to be charging a price that even a free market apologist would consider nothing shy of grotesque. Shut it down.

Anyone who thinks this is grotesque has a wide socialist streak.

OP was just offended that the firearm wasn't available for sale at his price. Solution - don't buy and move on.

I'm not as tired of the topic as I am tired about the bitching about this topic. Soon, someone will be tired of the bitching about the bitching about this topic. [smile]

True. If you want fixed prices on commodity items, go to Walmart.

This, jesus h cwithe. I don't get the 'im entitled to buy something at a reasonable price! " mentality.... don't buy the ****ing thing, its that simple. Particularly when there are plenty of alternatives.
