This little gem has me all worked up

We HAD a similar problem with the local high school, until Sep 1993.

They only let the Army Guard recruiter in one day a year.

Once my son got in the Guard, we had a recruiter in the school, every DAY (until he graduated).

I can't believe all that. Guess there is a reason I don't pay attention to CNN. I could almost believe it happening in Northampton, Amherst area. [evil]

As far as most of the news networks,I don't pay alot of attention to them.
Other places to get the news that is more reliable and not so biased.

You must do a lot of eye'ing! [wink]

You have to know where they are if you want the "Front Towards Enemy" pointed in the right direction. [lol]

I'm with you, brother!

For my yard that wouldn't be too hard. I'm trying to talk Glenn into letting me have a tank for a lawn ornament,so I can make the neighbors real uneasy. So far I can't talk him into it. :)

Nah,see I want the turret aimed towards my neighbors house. [twisted]

You can aim a cannon on wheels any direction you want. Then, you can work on getting an arty piece and finally a tank. Have to do these things in stages.

I think an M109A5 would be appropriate. Makes a bigger boom than a tank anyways, and tanks are "short range" guns. Need a really "reach out there and touch someone" piece.

I like the Claymore bit.

No this way would be more fun trust me. :D They come from the city, and are vegetarians. They didn't like it when I raised to pigs in my yard. We also had them butchered, and I don't think they really liked it when we were sitting around talking with the guy. Alan had never seen it done and was interested. We also had 2 or 3 weeks where it was really hot and humid,so the didn't like the smell, even though the dairy farm down the road smelled worse. She wanted to know if I was sending them away. Yeah right I was loading them on a plane....Not. Pigs were not a country smell according to her. So I try to make them hate me even more and hope they move. Tony's way may work. I have an aweful evil side to me too.... [twisted]

Oh trust me when we get a big flagpole up,I'd do it. Too many do gooders in town don't like the flags flying in the center of town from Memorial Day to Veterans Day.

Oh basically that is what the selectman have done, but they still bitch. The front of my house is patriotic and it irks them. So I just add to it.

I have to ask- would the people who are against recruiters calling their homes prefer that we just reinstate the draft?!

I'd rather have a telemarketer/recruiter find 50 people who want to be military than have 50 people forced into doing something they don't believe in.

Please don't interject logic into the equation. It will not be tolerated. "Your papers, please"?

Shoot, even when Alan was in basic/ait had a recruiter call. He was kind of disappointed when I told him he was too late. (It was a Marine recruiter too) [lol]

Actually, they would prefer the draft, since they'll just dodge it like they did in the 60's and early 70's.
