From the Cape Cod Times' endorsement of our horse's ass of an Attorney General:

Headline:

Reward Reilly
As attorney general, Reilly has fought for workers and consumers.

Unless, you're a consumer who wishes to purchase a handgun.

Now, I'm warning you, make sure you're sitting down, and have finished swallowing your coffee before reading any further.

In a proposal that should even attract the attention of Republicans, Reilly will launch a "Deregulating Government Initiative" to "weed out duplicative and obsolete state regulations..."

What an abject turd.

ABJECT (ab-jekt) adjective:

1. utterly hopeless, miserable, humiliating, or wretched: abject poverty.
2. contemptible; despicable; base-spirited: an abject coward.
3. shamelessly servile; slavish.

I love where the article says Riley will get $500 million for U. Mass. I wonder if all of that will be retroactive retirement for Bill Bulger?

Bruce,

You've outdone yourself the past few days. Great work on the blog.

To everyone else, if you don't visit mAssbackwards every day, you're missing on some great local political blogging.
