This at my local gun shop

It is an STG 34-K (Stemple Take-down Gun) built by Brian R. Pollard based on the Suomi 9mm Sub-gun created by the Finns for the Winter War. It uses 32 round double-stack stick mags, 72 round drums, and 50 round "coffin" magazines from the Suomi. The coffin magazines are interesting as they have 2 separate chambers/followers/springs but feed from a single central point unlike most double-stack magazines.

John Stemple of Groveport IL machined a few thousand receiver tubes and registered them with the BATF just before the Hughes amendment was passed. Brian purchased the remaining tubes after John passed and is still building brand new fully transferable machine guns on them. He makes several variants of these guns. See www.BRPguns.com for information.

The beauty of these is that the tube/receiver is the serialized and registered part which is almost indestructible. Everything else can be replaced at will. My brother in law (RIP) owned six of them in four different configurations.
