An intense flare-up of Mosinitus which occurred this past week was temporarily quelled by the prescription of four new specimens for the collection. This is dosage number three - 1931 Tikkakoski M27

Built on a 1910 Izhevsk receiver, it has a one piece Finnish stock with oval sling slot plug and late nose cap. The bore is good and crusty, I'll brush this one out before passing final judgement. It came with a nice dog collar.

Thanks for looking.

LOL.... I at first did not realise this thread was from back in June. I thought Martin had one more of his many 3 gun weeks. :)

I just did a transfer for a guy who purchased a really nice set of 3 guns from Aim.

1903A3
1903A4

And a Mosin 1891/30. He said he paid the extra $10 for a hand pick and wow, it was really nice. The thing looked brand new.

Is the model they're selling at Aim, a good first Mosin??

Thanks,

Don

M27's have not been on the primary market for a number of years, now. You will mostly find M91/30's, with a few M44's and M38's still around on occasion.
