Thin AR front posts?

So I had purchased a 0.052" front post for my AR. It's trapezoidal shaped and seems a bit thicker than the ones I like on my friends' competition ARs. I like a really thin post and want to either get a square 0.05" or thinner- specifically for highpower competition, if it makes any difference.

So, any suggestions? Most I've found are 0.052 at the thinnest.

Thanks!

Thinnest will be the National Match square for the AR. I'm at work so I can't measure mine but that will be as thin as it gets. Look for those.

Does the front sight you bought have 4 indent holes for elevation change or 5? Even the standard A2 front sight is a square/rectangle where the A1 sight is a trapezoidal in shape ( wider at the bottom than the top.) I think that the A1 sight has 5 holes and the A2 has 4 holes - you might have an A1 sight you just put in. Find one for the A2, if that is what version you have for your AR.

I know I've seen them in the past but I don't remember where. White Oak Precision may be able to help you out though.
