So, if you had the opportunity to pick up any S&W pistol without price being an object, what would you choose and why?

If price were no option, I'd have to go with the most expensive: the 40 Centennial.

Although I'll admit I've been considering purchasing the more modest 686 (-4). A great gun for the price!

I own a TRR8. It is ****ing awesome.
moon clips are a must.

sorry im sure the s&w 1911s are nice but they just look like theyre trying too hard. Every damn corner and surface has some aesthetic feature...its just too much for my simpleton eyes.

if i could own any S&W it would be a pro series m&p 45 or the big boy .500 revolver w at least 6" barrel

I'd get one of their 1911's (in .45 ACP of course) but I'd need to take it to Greg Derr under the same financial umbrella. Just too many things I want altered on it. Unless S&W will make all the changes/tweaks I want.
