Must be neighbors, I drive by that every day and wondered who the Pink Talking Fish were....
I wonder too. I guess they cover Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, and Phish. I like Pink Floyd and Phish. Don’t k ow much by talking heads. It’s a pretty cool concert venue, not a GFZ.

Government Mule was great but the CC in Concord isn't really a good venue for acts like theirs...there is very little acoustical treatment in that room and things get boomy real fast. Part of that might have been where I was seated, in the very front row in the center of the mezzanine. It should've been decent sound as I was on the same level as the curved array speakers but I suspect the lower frequencies get trapped up there.

They had lots of on stage monitors so there was probably a lot of stage wash. Regardless, it wasn't the worst concert I've been to sound wise. I was really amazed at how much weight Warren Haynes has lost. He looks like he's lost about 35% of his weight he was when I saw them at Meadowbrook 5-6 years ago.

I was hoping to see the B52s at the casino in Conn.
kate pierson, one of the best female rock vocalists...STILL...on the planet today. chick is in her 70's and can still belt one out. don't care for the 52's music but when i listen to "roam" or the tune she did with iggy pop, "candy", my hair stands up on the back of my neck. i like the way her and cindy wilson compliment each other, also.

You mentioning the Dropkicks reminded me of this awesome retirement gift I got in 2011. Guy that served with me was a manager at The Middle East once upon a time, and got me this...Screenshot_20191007-213725.jpg

Here it it in its entirety

did tower of power last summer in lowell. How was the concert? they keep changing up lead singers, but they were damned tight last year..
