One could wonder why we have nearly a million people on the payroll in the first place...

(and yes, yes, yes. I know it's far more than million people)

Its someones enumeration of their perspective of a history lesson and speculation on what may happen when the US leaves

You still havent explained to me why I SHOULD concede to my tax dollars being spent to establish a state for some group of people?

The reason we went in there was to destroy ISIS

    Thats done.......

We made the same mistake in Afghanistan and Iraq.......that mistake is nation building instead of destroying enemies and walking away.

If you want to give them ordinance to defend themselves I'm ok with that.....I'm not ok with continueing to fight now that the mission/reason we went there is done

I agree with you. My point was the same I have made for Afghanistan; Giving them our weapons at the same time when we are telling Turkey to take over is only going to lead to an international terrorism.

Since when did we "Tell" turkey to "Take Over" territory in Syria?

    Simply put we havent

Turkey rejects U.S. request to spare allied Kurds in Syria

I think the answer to the kurdish problem is to make them an independent country: Kurdistan! Let them live their lives alone without any intrusion from turkey, syria, iran, iraq.....

with international agreed upon borders, there will be no longer a need for hostilities from/towards the Kurds...who are just trying to live in peace, but are not afraid to defend themselves either

Turkey still has some thousand year old grudge with the kurds, and is not to be trusted at all in this regard

This was what was done after WWI, and has caused all the problems since.

There is no answer that will be acceptable to all. Walking away now will at least save American lives.

I wonder just how important his wall is to him. Seems like there are 20+ Dems in the Senate that would give it to him in exchange for our AR15's.

On Thursday, President Trump tweeted a clip of former President Obama saying there is "an actual humanitarian crisis on the border that only underscores the need to drop the politics and fix our immigration system once and for all.

President Obama, thank you for your great support – I have been saying this all along! pic.twitter.com/L506g9Aq4z

The National Emergencies Act (Pub.L. 94–412, 90 Stat. 1255, enacted September 14, 1976, codified at 50 U.S.C. § 1601–1651) is a United States federal law passed to stop open-ended states of national emergency and formalize the power of Congress to provide certain checks and balances on the emergency powers of the President. The Act of Congress imposes certain procedural formalities on the President when invoking such powers. The perceived need for the law arose from the scope and number of laws granting special powers to the executive in times of national emergency.

The H.R. 3884 legislation was passed by the 94th United States Congress and signed by the 38th President of the United States Gerald R. Ford on September 14, 1976.[1]

“We are investigating this to determine what happened,” said Q13’s news director. “This does not meet our editorial standards and we regret if it is seen as portraying the President in a negative light. The editor responsible for editing the footage is being placed on leave while we investigate further.” (link)

More proof that if this can be done Live, mass shootings where we never EVER see bodies are doctored and fake as well...

Thanks for exposing the truth once again Cucks

You need illegal immigrants because when you are old and on our stellar Medicare they will be making sure somebody is contributing and paying taxes while you are resting and cruising around the world! [rofl2][rofl2][rofl2]
