The time when they were reporting is long time gone. They are interpreting, translating for us, so our brains continue turning into an apple sauce.

Every detail is prepared, magnified, played over and over again.

Their reporters were educated by the best, by former KGB operatives, professors of engineering of human souls, we did cover it here with examples and videos already.

They are on a sinking ship, though. The Peak of Stupidity was reached and there is nothing else to climb, so they will go down now.

    OK, tariffs.

I've been going back and forth on this, wondering whether it's possible President Trump does not understand American companies pay import tariffs, not the Chinese. Is it possible he doesn't understand this? What do you think?

How can you tell when the media and politicians are lying? When their lips are moving.

American companies only pay if they BUY the tariffed (?) products, if the cost is too high we look somewhere else, which probably brings into play a US producer. Of course, depends on the product. Same reason why countries with high tariffs on our products, don't sell a bunch of it typically.

We should charge Mexico an import tariff on illegal immigrants. Pay for the wall.

A fee on money transfers to Mexico and central American countries would more than pay for the wall.

He is stressed figuring, as do I, that Trump is sitting on some documents that could and will be declassified if the Mueller or Pelosi come after him.

Poor fellow knows jumpsuit orange isn't his color.

I buy steel buildings. I asked some supplier at a trade show what the tariffs had done.

Some don’t buy Chinese steel and some who do buy Chinese steel sought other sources like Canada, Mexico and the US.

So the price for steel buildings jumped initially then settled to a modest price increase after manufacturers found other sources.

The point being that China is selling less steel to manufacturers in my segment of the economy.

No offense but unless I misunderstood you're as tangled up as I think Trump might be.

China is protecting its domestic market with high import tariffs on American products to discourage Chinese buyers of American products.

Trump is applying pressure to China to lower China's import tariffs using tariffs on Chinese products imported to the USA.

Trump's Tweets are ambiguous. So here's my question. Does Trump understand American companies pay American import tariffs or does he think China somehow pays them? What do you think?

Truly amazing, The state of the globalist MSM is absolutely disgusting. They are advocating for us to be replaced in our own nations. They will blatantly lie and they don’t care.

Exactly this. As much as I like Nikki Haley, this will never happen. Pence is on the ticket to get the bible belt out to vote. Dropping him in 2020 would be political suicide. But I can see Nikki Haley running for president at some point down the road.

    Its a possibility.

Haley showed us that she has the chops to stand up to the UN and support a sane international position wrt the US and the tyrants in the UN

She also has a history of some dumb f***ing shit.....mostly revolving around running her mouth as a never trumper.......she sure as shit got on board with Trump and did the best job we've ever seen anyone do @ the UN......made Bolton look like a cupcake.....

I think the GOP needs to make a choice/take action to get suburban voters, primarily females on board with voting to re-elect trump.....pence doesnt really have that appeal......and to be fair the evangelical vote is going to line up behind trump no matter what

Trump was never really that capable, even if you're charitable and assign his lack of progress to his lack of understanding of the Washington bureaucracy. What he was was a wrecking ball and a damn good one.

Trump's momentum has been absorbed by the swamp. You can feel it. He's now resorting to the easy stuff like tariffs, the stuff he can do unilaterally. Maybe this is all we can expect of any President now in any case. But Trump has not actively worked to undermine the Republic unlike his predecessor and for that I am grateful. He has also appointed many conservative judges which we should not forget or ignore. He has also not started any new wars, an achievement for which he should receive vastly more credit.
