I know we had a thread like this a while back but I figured its time for an updated one. I'll admit, my search skills are about as usefull as Stevie Wonder at a CMP match.[sad2] Mods, link the other thread if you can find it please.

So when is the last time you went shooting?

For me it was the Pumpkin Shoot. I know that was a long time ago but I've been busy lately and daylight is short these days. I miss the days of summer where I could head out to the range after work and shoot for an hour or so. Saturdays and Sundays are usually pretty busy and weekend chores and errands get in the way.
I really have to get to the range. I've got 4 rifles I haven't shot yet and one to put back together which makes 5 total.

A few hours ago.

And before that, yesterday.

Shot an informal HP match today with my M1.

Yesterday I burned about 200 rounds of 5.56 and about 70 of 9 mm working on fighting drills.

Pumkin Shoot was my last time as well. I've been working six days a week but that will change soon when I get laid-off.[banana] [party] Right after Christmas I'll be able to set up my newest reloading press I bought last year and use all the new guns I bought this year. I hope to not work so many Saturdays next year so Ann and I can spend more time together doing the things we love to do.

Yesterday!

I was the sole range officer at BR&P all day! CMP ran until ~3PM (30 shooters). I was off duty officially at 1PM but stuck around until almost 3PM doing some shooting and letting others finished up before I shut the range down formally (must have an RO on duty for outdoor ranges or they are shutdown). My relief never showed up (2 ROs per shift of 3 hours).

I shot my Wife's G17 ~150 rds, a fellow shooter insisted that I try out his Ruger SA in .45LC (very sweet gun).

Then I coached Deena at SAS after trying out Ann's G23 <many thanks again>. I put 50 rds of WWB .40 thru her gun, very nice and now I know what my next purchase will be.

Yesterday! Played with my new toy, lent Len my G23 to check out, tried to destroy the target holder (Len knows the details - but he'd better be quiet! [laugh] ).

The Kel-Tec is amazingly recoilless! Outside of the long trigger pull it was fun to shoot, and pretty accurate.

So, why are you talking about it?? [rolleyes]

I wasn't about to say a word, just as I promised.

Today. I went yesterday, too. The mark of an addict, I guess... [laugh] well,
some of it is, just trying to get in some range time before it gets freezing
cold. I prefer shooting outdoors by a wide margin.

I brought out a whole host of guns today... mostly checking up on the
Wolff springs I bought over the past week. Seeing what worked, seeing
what didn't, etc. ( I might make a post about it in the firearms
section... some of what I discovered may be potentially useful information
for anyone trying to reduce the DA pulls in their handguns. )

Yeah, it was overcast, but kind of nice that the sun wasnt shining
in my eyes in the afternoon. Where I shoot the sun
comes down shining UPrange... so typically without clouds between 2-4
pm it's usually murderous on the eyes unless you have a hat. (During the
spring and summer you also end up sweating like a pig, as well.... )

Today, also........pretty much made a day of it as it was the first week of 200 yd. Winter Matches at the club. Was there early when the kitchen opened, had my breakfast, helped set-up, did my shooting and had a few refreshments before heading for home around 3.
Shot in three different classes.......about 75 rounds in all.
Seemed nice to get back into it as we hadn't shot any league matches since the end of August.

i'd have to say that the last time i got to go to the range was...about 2-3 months ago [crying]

but if things go right tomorrow..i'll be going throught 300-400 rds.

Last time was in late July. I normaly shoot on a friends property, but he is currently away at Fort Leonard Wood, not to mention my other shooting buddy is also away a Fort Leonard Wood so I don't really have a place to go shooting[sad] . But Ive also been really busy with work, school and other things. There coming back in December though so I'm stocking up on ammo and Tannerite[smile]

Yesterday and going again tonight and then Wednesday, again on Friday, Saturday, and maybe even a little trap Sunday. Then it starts all over again.

I may skip some but only if the work day goes past 10hrs [grin]

Yesterday, rifle shoot at MRA. 25 targets falling steal at 50 yards. I was shooting my bolt action .22, 60 second time limit. It was rough.
