The Gun-Rights Fight Isn't Over

"The right at issue — an ancient right, preserved but not created by the 2nd Amendment — is that of self-defense. The gun-control debate will continue, but it is a blessing that the court has refused to deny us the means of protecting our homes and families."

This is one beef I have with the founding fathers: it would've been so much better had they split the 2A into two separate amendments, a militia clause and the other for keeping and bearing arms.

I assume you are joking. It not, why would you have two amendments to say the same thing?
