Shouldn't that say bring sandwiches?
I've never been a big comic book fan , but I thought at least the Batman Begins movie with Christian Bale - had a good backstory as to how he became Batman. The Ironman movies have a good backstory to them as well on how Tony Stark becomes Ironman.
I also liked The Punisher series on Netflix - and that also had a good backstory .
In each of these cases - the backstory may be a little bit out there - but it's at least somewhere within the bounds of being believable. Is there any backstory at all to this new Batlesbian series? Or is it just some pissed off chick taking over a bunch of stuff some guy made?
The constant pushing of all of this go-gyrrl and globohomo stuff just turns me completely off. It's permeated everywhere, and IMHO the best thing to do is just shut that shit off. In the end the whole thing revolves around money - so deny them funding. They keep doing these movie remakes with all female casts - and they keep failing over and over again. Sooner or later the money is going to talk and they're just simply going to have to stop because they're out of funds.
Watch Haywire with Gina Carano. Outstanding fight scenes.
I Can only imagine what's in the BatWoman/thing's Bat Utility Belt
Can the new "Bat-gender-fluid-person" be worse than the Aquaman movie?
I agree, backstory makes the character interesting - except I don't want to know her back story.
When a director places a political agenda first in making a movie, it's 100% guaranteed to suck. Can anyone name an exception to that rule?
This actress can't catch a break from either side. Apparently, she's not LGBTQ enough for the role for the LGBTQ crowd, and got enough sh*t over it to take down her Twitter account. Apparently, DC made this character a lesbian in a 2006 reboot of the comic, and that community thinks she's not in-your-face lesbian enough for the role.
So on one hand she's being labeled a SJW, but on the other, she's not LGBTQ enough. Who knew a comic book superhero role would be so controversial?
Not a Ruby Whateverhernameis fan. She comes off as a D-word in everything she does. Great eyes. D-baggery vibe. Maybe it's the characters she plays. She's better in this, but I really really really can't get into superhero series's's. Not my cup of tea. I wanted so bad for Agents of Shield to do well. It grated on me. Tried that one with the slutty chick with the superpowers and the successful sister - Judie-B-Jones or whatever. Still no. This? EXTRA no.
That "actress" can't act. She seems to demand that every role she gets be rewritten into a lesbian. Everything she has been in. John Wick 2, XXX 3. You name it.
Same with the "actress" who plays megaton warhead in Dead pool movies.
Was her role in John Wick lesbian? I thought it was more just androgynous. I mean, she seems to thoroughly crotch check Wick in one of those movies during the pat down.
So I'll ask the important questions here.
Where the hell is Bruce? Did he retire to the Seychelles or something?
He’s having a drink waving at Alfred.
Super size me was ok...
"Not lesbian enough".
So apparently they should have made the new Batlesbian an angry 5ft tall overweight chick with a bunch of nasty looking tatoos who has a butch haircut and beats up her girlfriend.
That looks god awful.
He got sick of her telling him she's a woman and went on vacation. Did you know she's a woman?
As long as you understand it was a work of fiction.
Looks like the Wolfenstein game series has caught the LGBT disease, lol.
The first time I saw “lesbians” was in an internet documentary. I’ll admit, it held my attention.
This? Not so much.
Will the Catmobile be a converted Subaru?
