...is always a fun one.
After looking around for a while I picked up a Remington 887 at Dicks sporting goods (on sale) for $370. It was too good of a deal to pass up. It was cheaper than some of the ones I've seen on the pre-owned market.
Yesterday I got a chance to put some slugs through it. At 60 yards I was really happy with the accuracy.
I also brought my mother to the range for the first time. She's never been against firearms, but also never really understood the draw. She'd never shot before, so I gave her a good amount of instruction on safety and operation and then set up up with my Ruger 10/22. Perfect way to get her started. She pegged a couple clays and now can't wait to go back!
I'd say it was a successful day!
