I am puttering in the gun cabinet as it is 80 degrees, raining, and 100% humidity outside; yech. I realized in looking things over that it hasn't been a year since I got my first 7.65mm pistol, the M14 (1918) Mauser last September. Fast forward to today I now have five, having since added the M03 Colt (1919), the Mauser HSc (1942), the Sauer 38H (1940), and most recently the M13 (1918) Sauer and Sohn. Time for a new family photo.

The order is M14, M13, M03, 38H, and Hsc. The M13 Sauer seems tiny next to the M03 Colt. Even though the Colt design is 10 years older than the two to the left, it seems more in line with the two "next generation" pieces to the right, the Sauer 38H and the HSc. I wasn't big into pistols until last year, now I have five. Don't worry, there are many Mauser rifles I have still to get.[smile] The first two pistols are "rigged;" I would like to rig the HSc and the 38H as well. Did the US have a holster for the '03 Colt, or only the '11 .45?

Nice collection. I too am very fond of 7.65 pistols.

I would need to get a larger dinner table to get them all in one photograph I think.

It's a antique gate-leg table, about 1880, that can double in size; you can see one leaf in the picture. I have had most of the collection on it before.

Nice collection, those are some great looking Mausers. I am very jealous of all the rifles you own, makes me wonder why I only own have Mauser rifle (K98) in my collection.

This is a German-only or German derivitive (vz-24) picture from last fall. Not included are the three new German 7.65mm pistols. Also not included are a 1919 Rock Island '03 Springfield, '39 Izzy 91/30, a 1995 .50 cal. left hand flint lock, a .44 cal. M51 Colt Revolver (2005), bayonets, swords, etc. Maybe time for a WDA picture when the stock comes for the Springfield.

Easy to fix; RCs can still be had for $350 if you look hard enough, unless your standards are higher![smile]

You could tell it was raining today, nothing to do, lets drag out all my firearms and take pictures......God we are a strange bunch aren't we[wink][laugh]

Good show! Very interesting to see the size and grip differences of the pistols that are designed for the same round. Clearly, some were meant to be more concealable than others.
