I did a reloading class for Bob J on Friday. We took our time, and covered the range of reloading topics, and then did 50 rounds each of .308 Winchester, and 45 ACP. That included checking test rounds at the local shooting place. (We discovered that he needed to tighten up the crimp on the 45 ACP's).

It was a bit over 6 hours, but with a one on one type class, there was lots of questions, answers, and great tips.

Bob came up from Quincy, MA, quite a drive. Thanks for making the trip. Hope you're all set for reloading with your single station press and the Dillon 550B.

I want to hear about your first loads on your own.

If anyone else would like a class, either as part of a group, or one on one, let me know.

I'm currently tooled for 9mm Luger, .45ACP, and .40 S&W in pistol. And, 5/56/.223 REM, .308/7.62, 30-06 in rifle. I will expand that as the requests come in.

I'll supply the brass, bullets, powder, primers, and about six hours of instruction. You'll load 50 rounds each of a pistol and of a rifle, including test firings. The balance you take home. Cost for the class is $200. Bring a bag lunch, I'll supply the coffee and cold beverages.

I apologize to any admins if this thank you post is located in the wrong area. It was in this reloading area that Bob saw my posts, and wanted to learn.

Absolutely Great Class

I have to say that this was an awesome class.... Well worth the trip up to benefit from Duke's 30+ years of reloading experience.... Extensive coverage of theory as well as lots of hands on.... Very frank discussions as to what is the very best way to ensure safe, accurate and reliable reloading.... The tips and tricks I learned alone were well worth attending the class...

I would not hesitate to recommend this class to anyone.... It was a real pleasure....

Thanks Duke!

Sure, as I said before, you cover my travel costs, and a couple of days of meals (I like to eat!), and the $200 class fee, and I'll bring the gear down, and put on a class. In fact, if you can guarantee me five other class mates, you'll get your class fee for free.

Duke...you travel to NJ??? Sounds like you have a great class to offer.

Best,
Jim
