nope there is a double standard and no debating that. I think the reality is, we all wanted it as teenagers in high school. We wanted that hot teacher, we fantasized about it. But if it was our daughters well then fatherly instinct kicks in. But our sons, well we did the same thing (or atleast wished we did )Yes yes, I know, we're mostly men around here. Yes, the teenagers are going to get high fives from anyone here.
And I really apologize for being the ass**** who has to post this, but remember, there's always ONE ass***
But, please try to be honest, and just run this thought one time in your head:
The teachers are male, the students are 17 YO girls, and the same thing happened.
Would you still be high fiving all around, or, more likely, making sure the pitch forks are well tightened to their handles... ?
If a 17YO boy knows good enough to have a good time and should be left alone, shouldn't the same be said about a 17 YO girl ?
Of course, boys are different than girls and men are not the same as women, but until that gets acknowledged by the legal system, we'll always have these types of cases.
But, also, if that ever gets acknowledged by the legal system, that would be the end of the legal system as we know it. Because it is based on the idea that "all are equal".
Well, maybe they're not, after all.
Oh boy, if I climb to a bus and David Lee Roth is the driver, I'm running the hell away.
Their arrests came just 10 days after police in West Covina arrested South Hills High School part-time girls’ wrestling coach Anthony Vidales, 29, of Covina on suspicion of having sex with a female student on Jan. 7. Police disclosed Vidales’ arrest Tuesday.
