Saw this sexy little gem on Futureweapons last night..
This is the Isreali replacement for the dated(but immortal) M16 and M4.
its shorter than an M4 but has the full barrell lenght of an M16 by shifting the barrell back into the body. fully ambidexterous.
quite a headturner.

I'm kind of neutral on bullpups. This doesn't look as wacky as the P90. I don't like the way that you lay the magazine on top of a P90, but I guess it is kind of fun to shoot. This one looks a little more "normal." But I'd still rather hunker down and cuddle up close to an M16... [wink]

Arioch, according to the first link, it is a .223 (or 5.56NATO as they call it).

either way, I want the semiauto version when it comes out. [smile]

Supposedly Charles Daly is making a new attempt to start up production of these here in the US.

Ironic that there's an EBR that is sold to civilians in Canada but not the US [rofl]

Pretty cool.. Looks wise, I like my Msar and FS2000 better though..

It looks like the grip is a lot farther forward than either of the others. I wonder if it really really butt heavy or if it balances well..

I imagine you'd be able to switch which side the bullpup ejects it's casings. I believe the Msar has that ability, yes?

Hanwei's got it. The Tavor is similar to the AUG and FAMAS in that you can choose which direction the casings eject from.

How can a bullpup be ambidextrous if it ejects from the right side? Case would go right upside my head.

the FS2000 ejects out the front. but the cocking handle is on the left side, most feel this is as ambidexterous as you can get..

MSAR and Aug types can all be switched to left eject, you just need a different bolt face and to pop the eject cover from left to right.

But there again, the handle is still on the left side (that doesn't change).
