Swiss Vetterli

I have a friend who just acquired one of these and is looking for information about ammo for it. He read somewhere about making ammo that will work from .348 brass. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks

I found something on that site (in a roundabout way) about ammo, I believe it said Buffalo makes brass (centerfire), and it mentioned the brass you can form from...is his centerfire or rimfire?

I have Grafs 8mm Lebel brass that I intend to use for my Vetterli when I get around to the centerfire conversion

I have a Vetterli and have reloaded ammo for it. The cases were cut down and formed from .348 Win brass. It is an involved process but can be done. The rifle is damned accurate.

Has it been converted to centerfire?
