In the last week of March, immediately in the aftermath of the tragic Brussels bombing which ISIS took responsibility for and which was subsequently revealed as organized by a semi-autonomous Brussels cell operating closely with the French cell responsible for the November 2015 terrorist attack, we reported that the Islamic State group has trained at least 400 attackers and sent them into Europe for terror attacks. As AP said, citing security officials, "the network of interlocking, agile and semi-autonomous cells shows the reach of the extremist group in Europe even as it loses ground in Syria."

The last sentence was most troubling: "The officials say the fighters have been given orders to find the right time, place and method to carry out their mission."

Fast forward one month later when one such place targeted for a new ISIS attack may have been revealed.

Will they be caught in time?

All will be fine. Terrorist won't attack Sweeden, as they are loved there.

Sweeden is a socialist utopia and the example of that perfection that socialism creates, at least according to all of the progressives...[rolleyes]

Based on this, I would think that all countries should be on high alert, and wary of allowing new refugees to enter their country without careful vetting. [thinking]

if all of Europe isn't on high alert by now, they deserve what they get.

As of 6 months ago, the US has admitted over 2,000 Syrian refugees. Looks like we deserve what we get, too, right?

If their goal is to infiltrate western societies, this is a pretty stupid move on their part. I thought that their strategy was to fly under the radar until they have a majority of the population.

hey, I have no sympathy for countries where they outlawed people being able to defend themselves with guns. Let them stew in their own stupid decisions.

Well, I was reading an article on Tuesday that was talking about how Obama is trying to circumvent the 'careful vetting process' because it takes too darned long, and they won't make the 10,000 Syrian goal by Sept. 30.

Today I was reading that the Obama administration is looking to grant 120,000 illegal Ecuadorians Temporary Protected Status due to the earthquake last week, and to allow many more into the country under the auspice that it isn't safe for them to be in Ecuador, because, you know, earthquake.

So, while I did not say we 'deserve what we get' which implies innocent people dying, we certainly shouldn't be surprised if the result of Obama's efforts 1) increase the likelihood of more Americans dying in terrorist attacks on US soil, and 2) a further bursting of the deficit as we extend benefits and cash to people who do not have the ability (at present) to contribute to the US, and who would likely never be allowed in on merit via the normal immigration process.
