There we go again, that terrible confusion! This is why we need to have eSwatini 1, eSwatini 2 and eSwatini 3. Keep on your mind that MA is going to be eMass in the future. "Swatini" was defined for a different hemisphere.

    I like this part:
Pensioners are projected to be the fastest-growing age group in Sweden

Same problem as that liberal paradise of Chicago

indeed. If they illegally crossed in....well at least we would have no problem at all hiring new ICE agents to "man" the border! Just think of all the interrogations they would all need. NES could volunteer our services in determining if they are GUILTY or NOT GUILTY. [smile][smile][smile]

Cuz the problem isn't that they didn't see it coming.

The problem is they decided to import infinity Moslems who use the welfare system but don't contribute. When it was just Swedes, it was fine.

And, they're so busy being politically correct and virtue signalling, they can't even address the problem.

So no. You can't just scream HURR DURR OPM!!!!111! here. The Swedish system actually worked when it was just Swedes.

Wasn't it Margaret Thatcher who said "Socialism is great until you run out of other peoples money".

Happens to the best of them, but math always wins. It usually doesn't take long. Sweeden had a certain culture combined with a small population where socialism was able to exist for a short time.
So, times up and all of the "migrants" that have shown up in Europe over the past few years have accelerated the process.

While I am not an expert on how many immigrants have moved into Sweden and overloaded the system, I think the bigger part of it is the growing delta between workers and non-worker retirees or "pensioners". Regardless of immigration this was bound to break once that ratio hit a certain limit. Again, I'm not sure if the pensions in that country are 100% covered already (like they should be) or if they adopted to US system of more of a pass through where as their is not much if anything in the piggybank and all the near term payments are made from near term taxes of working employees.

The US is no better off. In fact we're probably in a much worse position when you consider all the doomed state and local pensions, social security's funding problems, the national debt, our demographics, etc.

It's not a bad at math problem, it's a human nature problem mixed with a politician problem plus an entitlement problem, all complicated by a generational problem. Past/current generations have robbed future generations blind, and the politicians, special interest groups and ultimately the voters all made it happen.

    1. I don't know how many breeding Swedes are left there. When your women import men from other countries to get laid, it sounds like Swedes have gone extinct.

    2. Higher levels of living cause people to be more responsible with off-spring and enjoy life in younger years, which delays breeding. All of those are issues because of gap in income and lack of familial support for younger families.

Most people mistakenly assume that the problem is with younger families themselves, which does not even start to address the issue. I also believe that conservatism stimulates breeding in younger years as well, i.e. progressivism of the older generation is what f***s up younger generations in more ways than one.

They are not bad at math. But why worry about an issue 15 - 20 years ago when they could kick the can?

You are dealing with politicians here, who's only job is to get re-elected.
