    Years ago, I read something by a safecracker: "Don't kill the money." Guess the safe did not go along with that.

    odds that relatives of flattened guy will sue because he shouldn't have had a safe that heavy?

    He should have made sure the safe cant tip over. Now, I would have guessed prior to this that by making a safe weigh 900 pounds would have accomplished that goal.
