The Surefire Institute is widely considered to offer the BEST low/no light training available, but all of the courses listed on their website seem to be marked "Law Enforcement Only".

SigArms Academy in Epping NH offers their own eight-hour low/no light courses to civilians several times a year.

Usually, the SigArms course is $195.

This year, the course being offered on Friday, April 7th, is $295, and is marked as "being taught by instructor William Murphy in Conjunction with SureFire Institute."

William Murphy is listed on the SureFire Institute web site as the "Lead Instructor for Low Light and Firearms Training" for Surefire Institute and is also a Senior Rangemaster for Gunsite.

This appears, therefore, to be a rare opportunity for those of us in the Northeast to get this level of expert training in our backyards.

I'm already signed up for it, maybe I'll see some of you there.

BTW, for those with the interest, and necessary credentials, Murphy will be teaching the two day SureFire Low Light Instructor course there on April 5th and 6th.

I cant find those classes at Sig.. Am I missing something?

Interesting. I copied the web addresses right from the actual pages with the info.

Well, you know what they say: "To Err Is Human, But To Really Screw Things Up Requires Computers."

Maybe one of the alpha geeks here can explain what went wrong.

Anyway, from the listing that comes up when you click on:

http://www.sigarmsacademy.com/selfdefense/citizen.asp

choose the "View the full A-Z listing of all of our courses"

From that page, choose the "Low Light Shooting Techniques".
