Suppressor built in to barrel of .22 rifle legal in MA?

I'm interested in these .22 rifles. They have some kind of sound suppression system.They are not legal in MA, right?

But was hoping there might be some exemption for .22 caliber or something.

It is ironic that the laws that are supposed to protect the safety of people are causing users of the guns to lose their hearing unneccessarily...

I would like to know as well. I didn't see anything on the site that said that it was a Class III weapon.

The NFA info is on their site. There is also info on govt purchases of their products.

Suppressed 10/22s are used by animal control officers I am told.

Suppressed 22s aren't legal in MA. MANY suppressors for BB guns and pellet guns have been declared NFA (illegal) by BATFE. A little research on the BATFE website will tell you the story (this is recent info).

State Laws and Local Ordinances: Most states allow ownership of NFA firearms, but some states or local municipalities have statutes or ordinances that restrict or ban ownership. At last count thirteen states placed some sort of restrictions on the types of NFA firearms you could own (anything from requiring a state permit to outright denial). These include California, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island. If you are uncertain of the laws in your area, contact your state or national gun rights organization for help. They likely will know more about your local firearms laws than anybody else.

What they said - since they don't list MA, and since they're selling suppressed BARRELS or entire rifles, I'd check with GOAL about it. I'm sure they'd know.
