I figured I would add a box of non-fat dried milk to my stock. According to the Still Tasty site it only lasts a year on the shelf. I'm probably going to put the box in a mylar bag with O2 absorbers. Anybody got any better ideas or experience?

If you Mylar it immediately it should last a lot longer. O2 absorber a help.

If you're going to do that I'd look at just buying cans of it from MH or Aug. might be cheaper.
