Stoneham High School closed after threat

STONEHAM, Mass. -- Stoneham High School was closed for the day after threatening notes attached to rocks and bricks were thrown through windows at the school.

Fire and police officials, including the bomb squad are investigating.

Stay with 7NEWS and WHDH.com for more details as they become available.

For everyday school is closed during the school year, they should make the dumb kids who did this threat to get out of school make the days up over their summer vacation.

If someone was going to bomb a school, why would they make a public threat? Our society is going completely the wrong way.... people didn't used to take these things seriously and schools weren't blowing up everywhere!

What a non surprise- the kids have figured out how to game the
system. This isn't any different from the kids sprinkling bullets in hallways and bathrooms on purpose.

Correct response: Sweep up the glass and call the window repair company, maybe file report with PD and suggest an increased patrol visits. Life (and
school) continues as normal.

Of course, someone is going to try to preach to me "B B B BUT DIS IS A POST COLUMBINE WERLD!!!! TEH PUSSY ADMIN would have their head put on a platter if they did nothing and something actually happens!!!!!!" [thinking]
