Interesting info, 18 states C or higher, 32 states D or F. Well, looks like almost 2/3 of the country is fairly free.
I think the Brady campaign is one of the BEST things to ever happen to carry permits. Their bad examples, and Pit Bull like tactics got Missouri from no CCW to Shall-Issue. And many other examples are out there of the GOOD things the Brady campaign has accomplished by their FAILURE to further their agenda, and there BACKFIRED attempts at citizen disarmament. [lol]

It would be interesting to graph these scores against come sort of a violent crime index.
A nearby state with a D- has just about the lowest crime in the country. It's adjoined on 2 sides by a couple of states that have some of the highest crime in the country. Close enough to a graph?
