Down here in Georgia squirrel season will be open soon. Are you getting ready to put a bunch of tree rats in your freezer? I love to cook them in a crock-pot like beef stew, but add squirrels instead of beef. How about Posting your favorite recopies.
I use my super duper S.S. 10/22 with a KIDD 2.5 pound single stage trigger and an ARCHANGEL AAP1022 DESERT TAN STOCK with a BUSHNELL RIMFIRE 3-12x40MM scope that has a 4-plex reticule.

PS: I marinate mine with Italian salad dressing overnight then brown them in a frying pan then put them in the crock-pot with one can of diced tomatoes, sliced mushrooms, sliced onions, canned corn and string beans and especially carrots and canned new potatoes which I love. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
For beef pot roast I put a pot roast in it instead of the squirrels.
