I was thinking some place is Williamstown or Lee would be true western MA. Maybe hit Tanglewood after for some jazz.

Jokes aside I would suggest Union Station in Northampton. Veteran owned. Able to accommodate larger party’s. Looking like I can’t make Sept. 3. That said, since I ran my mouth I’d be more than willing to do some leg work and make this happen for next time if there is interest.
That is an a bad selection at all. I enjoy tunnel bar cocktails.
we would love to have you next time, good to meet new faces.

any place suggestions from anyone else? Looking forward to seeing some folks again, and if this day doesn’t work perhaps suggest a secondary, Or we’ll see you at the next one!

two or three of the ones in central mass. I forgot where we used to go to the food was good.
I've done them at Jasmine's and Yong Shing in Auburn, the Cajun grill place in Worcester, and Post Office Pub in Grafton.

any suggestions in Sturbridge? perhaps accommodating some of our members more towards Worcester
Sturbridge/Worcester is strongly Central Mass, not Western Mass. I'd say you have to pass the Connecticut River or at least the Quabbin to be in Western Mass.

Union Station in Northampton

Fitzwilly's!

Bub's Barbeque!

It will be great to have a Western mass meet up finally I think I made it to two or three of the ones in central mass. I forgot where we used to go to the food was good. My GPS would just drive me in circles though..Very frustrating the first time.

I want to bring the new wife out there. she’ll talk your ear off though some of it some kind of liberal nonsense, Still a good time though
Lol
My wife doesn’t like guns or shoot.
Maybe I’ll bring a girl who does.
It would be worth the drive just to meet you.

413dan do you know what the Tap Room Grill on Boston Rd in Wilbraham is like or if it could accommodate a group?

The following weekend would work better for me, but I would be a maybe for 9/3. As far as going anywhere downtown Springfield on a weekend.... Probably not a great idea. I know a guy who knows a guy who said they have been having some issues with packs of wild a**h***s on dirt bikes, quads and terribly modified Hondas that think they are in a Fast and Furious movie causing problems down there.

Other parts of Springfield COULD work, but I'd avoid downtown on weekends honestly.

I'll try to think of some other restaurant ideas

Cima on Boston Rd. In Wilbraham is a bit pricey compared to what we normally do but food is amazing. I'm assuming they could accommodate a decent size party. Not too far off the highway either, just get off in Palmer and stay on RT 20.

How about a change to the 10th? All in favor? Poll added, please vote

Route 20 bar and grill, wilbraham ma has a nice menu, good atmosphere and not too pricey. Could inquire about a large table there. easy access from Palmer or Ludlow mass pike. Right on Boston road ie rt 20. Thoughts?

A few years back we went to some Irish place in West Springfield, can't remember the name. Food was good, fun night.... I would do that again

I can make September 10th. What about the MGM casino in Springfield?

I've heard the steakhouse there is average food wise but very expensive do it's not worth it. I've never eaten there myself. I'm not sure if they have any good restaurants there or not. As I said above, it's probably a good idea to avoid downtown on weekend nights. PM if you want more info... I would just not really recommend it if we are looking to have a good, zero bullshit, evening. That being said, I'll go wherever, we might see some wild shit, I just know a lot of members here try to avoid asshattery at all costs.

Rt20 is one of my favorite places Cema is very nice and if they could fit a group it would be great. That would be really a nice night out Red Rose is great also however in Springfield.

I have eaten at Chandler the steak house at MGM a number of times it is a very fine dining experience and I thought the food was great. It is very expensive and may not be the correct venue for our get together. We would be better served at Taps the sports bar at MGM the food I is great and the atmosphere would fit better for our get together. MGM is great right off the highway and straight into the garage. No in the city of Springfield walk around needed if anyone has a fear of the city.
