I know a bunch of the m1a style rifles are ma compliant but it looks like the socom cqb is not? Only thing is that it looks like the telescoping stock is the issue? If I have it pinned or replaced with a fixed stock would that be compliant?

Ok cool so if I picked one up on let’s say gun broker and my FFL can pin it (which they can) I’m good to go?

Appreciate the help!!

Negative on the SOCOM CQB at least in mass anyways. Has a pistol grip plus other evil things. Figured id post that up but my FFL said no go.

AWM,

Turn this into a learning experience. Do you know what the AWB says?

Specifically it references the federal law. https://malegislature.gov/Laws/GeneralLaws/PartI/TitleXX/Chapter140/Section131m

it includes the text:

a semiautomatic rifle that has an ability to accept a
detachable magazine and has at least 2 of--
`(i) a folding or telescoping stock;
`(ii) a pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath
the action of the weapon;
`(iii) a bayonet mount;
`(iv) a flash suppressor or threaded barrel designed to
accommodate a flash suppressor; and
`(v) a grenade launcher;

So it can have ONE of the "evil" features. And still not be considered an AW.
