Good serviceable condition M1 Garand with mostly Springfield parts. 5.8million serial 1955 mfg receiver and barrel (with muzzle wear at 1), SA bolt and trigger housing/internals. Rifle was just gone through by an expert local armorer/gunsmith and I can provide other references of his work if necessary. I had this same gentleman re-barrel another one of my receivers with a match quality barrel for CMP matches, so now this one is surplus to my needs.

It was supposed to be a gift for my nephew, but now he's going through some legal stuff and i'm not risking having this rifle get confiscated and end up in some LEO's personal collection or worse, destroyed.

I'm only listing it for a couple of weeks, as I'm moving to Indiana the weekend of the 23rd/24th...so if you want it, don't sit on the post waiting for the price to come down. It's well worth what I'm asking with the added work done to it, and i'll just keep it as (yet another) spare if it doesn't sell here. $SOLD and I'll include a CMP case, empty chamber indicator, and a couple of enbloc clips.

Transfer FTF via eFA10 in/around Worcester or Westborough area (Mon-Wed in WBoro)...or will consider meeting anywhere in the SE corner of the state next Sunday after the casting seminar.

All laws followed...goose rules...blah blah blah...
