It's the same for me, and I'm guessing you can't "shut it off." I think it's probably just the way the page is built.

I don't know if that's a recent change because I almost never go to that page, but I actually kind of like it. There's some interesting information there.

That sidebar has been there since the beginning of time. It should only be taking up about the right 20% of your screen... if that's not the case, can someone post a screenshot?

Pro-tip: some generic web rendering lossage is just you accidentally hitting
<Ctrl>-+ or <Ctrl>-- and changing the browser's zoom level for the current site.

Before totally panicking, hit <Ctrl>-0 to reset the zoom.
If that doesn't fix it, then you can panic.

(You may already have known that; jus' sayin').
