If you are running IE and install ieSpell, as an added feature of this forum software, you will find a little "checkmark REC" in the upper right corner of your editor box while typing replies. Click this and it will spell check your replies and save you the embarrassment of getting a reply with [sic] in it!
ieSpell can be found (free) here and will work with your IE (only) browser for whatever you are doing and want to spell check.

NOTE (From Wikipedia):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sic
Sic is a Latin word meaning "thus" or "so", used inside brackets — (sic) or [sic] — to indicate that an unusual (or incorrect) spelling, phrase, or other preceding quoted material is intended to be read or printed exactly as shown and is not a transcription error.
