That was actually working fine until George Bush (Sr.) had to stick his stupid face into it to save his oil-industry buddies in Kuwait. Before that, Iraq and Iran were completely neutralizing each other. Nuclear, solar, hyrdo, and wind power are the answer. Oil and fossil fuels are too valuable to burn for energy, and we do not want the extra CO2 in the atmosphere, unless it's provably going to prevent the next ice age.

This is how GOOGLE marks this solemn day.

    Smaller than a postage stamp.

Where is the "GOOGLE" artwork they have shoved down our throats for a few years...?

The additional CO2 going into the atmosphere is transient, plants will sink it and over the next few centuries atmospheric CO2 concentration will converge on some equilibrium number.

The global warmunists had theorized there is not enough Nitrogen available in the atmosphere for this to happen but it turns out, once again, they are oh so wrong.

Convergent evidence for widespread rock nitrogen sources in Earth’s surface environment

Climate Change: Scientists just discovered a massive, heretofore unknown, source of nitrogen. Why does this matter? Because it could dramatically change those dire global warming forecasts that everybody claims are based on “settled science.”

The researchers, whose findings were published in the prestigious journal Science, say they’ve determined that the idea that the only source of nitrogen for plant life came from the air is wrong. There are vast storehouses in the planet’s bedrock that plants also feed on.

This is potentially huge news, since what it means is that there is a vastly larger supply of nitrogen than previously believed.

University of California at Davis environmental scientist and co-author of the study, Ben Houlton, says that “This runs counter the centuries-long paradigm that has laid the foundation for the environmental sciences.

Yeah, the nuke talk is absurd. Fortunately the folks who talk it will never get anywhere near the big red button.

This is reality. Our buddies Mueller and Comey - surprise - were instrumental in covering up Saudi Arabia's role in the 9/11 attacks. I can't wait for the day the muppets connect the next dot. So if Saudi Arabia financed it, uh, and our government is covering it up, uh, then, uh.....

Was Gabriel from the movie Swordfish right?

Stanley : War? Who are we at war with?

Gabriel : Anyone who impinges on America's freedom. Terrorist states, Stanley. Someone must bring their war to them. They bomb a church, we bomb ten. They hijack a plane, we take out an airport. They execute American tourists, we tactically nuke an entire city. Our job is to make terrorism so horrific that it becomes unthinkable to attack Americans.

A movie? What does a movie have to do with reality...?

But to answer your question: Gabriel was a "small thinker"...

Just a thought....if some enterprising snackbar kidnaps and murders 10 American tourists in Tel Aviv, but leaves matzah and a yamaka at the scene...you nuke Tel Aviv?

I would not hesitate, after complete and undeniable confirmation that a certain country, location or Peoples who had just committed an atrocity of mass destruction against the
United States of America, causing massive loss of life and injury; to fire nuclear weapons on that country, location or Peoples. I would limit that massive and complete destruction to those who first struck at us. I would not do this capriciously and without forethought. I would end any and all thought of retaliation by ensuring there is No One left to retaliate.
If it was Saudi Arabia, then Yes Saudi Arabia. If it was Iraq, then Yes Iraq. If it was Afghanistan, then Yes Afghanistan. If it was North Korea, then Yes Korea. If it was China, then Yes China...

So, if you choose to think of me as anyone else; Think of me as Harry S. Enbloc, the 33rd President of the United States, who after finding out about the Trinity Project and the need to attack the Empire of Japan on their well-defended islands and atolls, Saved Millions of American Soldiers/Sailors/Airmen and Our great Marines (who would have taken the brunt and the burden of such a well-entrenched and determined Enemy. It is not about the killing, it is about the killing that would be assuaged...

When the Sword of War is unsheathed, it should be swung ferociously and vigorously until your foe has fallen.

    Dutifully Yours,
    ~Enbloc

They're not the only ones. The family had the Dickwitness on the tube. It was a Terrible Tragedy eighteen years ago. Words like "attack" and "terrorism" and "Islamist" were never mentioned. It was, y'know, like a natural disaster. [thinking]

In another 18 years, all that perished will be considered the "instigators" and "terrorists" in their own Right, by our own countrymen.

Nope, we let the Mossad point out the offenders and then we Global Hawk their asses. Nukes are only fueled and spun up for "Big" jobs...

The problem is you would be giving Russia and China de-facto permission to nuke countries that piss them off as a matter of their foreign policy management.
